With over 2,500 home effected within a square mile of our campus, we decided from day one to "Own Our Mile". This doesn't limit us in helping those in other parts of Katy. What it has done is give us a heightened focus on those who are our literal neighbors. We have challenged our members to be a neighbor to one or more of the families we are helping in recovery. We've been able to help them financially, but we know that our commitment goes far beyond financial support. Neighbors are there to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support. We can't do everything, but we can always do something.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”
— Mark 12:30-31
